This Legal Notice governs access to and use of the website certificate-assist.ie (the “Website”).

References to “we”, “us” or “our” in this Legal Notice mean Apliko Consulting OÜ.

2. Purpose of the Website

The Website provides information about, and access to, a private administrative support service. We assist individuals in preparing and submitting requests for Irish civil certificates (birth, marriage and death) to the General Register Office (GRO).

We are a private company. We are not a government body and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Government of Ireland, the Health Service Executive (HSE) or the General Register Office (GRO). We do not issue certificates; only the GRO does. You may apply directly to the GRO yourself, paying only the statutory fee of €20, at hse.ie.

3. Price

The total price for our assistance is €79 per certificate requested. This consists of the €20 statutory fee charged by the General Register Office, which we pay to the GRO on your behalf, and a €59 service fee for our administrative assistance (guidance, review of your details, and preparation and submission of the request). This breakdown is shown to you before payment.

4. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website lawfully and in accordance with applicable law. In particular, you must not:

  • Take any action that may damage, disable, overburden or impair the Website;
  • Use the Website for unlawful, misleading or fraudulent purposes;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers or any connected system.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Temporary interruptions, errors or technical faults affecting the Website;
  • Decisions, processing times or outcomes determined by the GRO or any other public authority;
  • Damage arising from your improper or unlawful use of the Website;
  • The content or services of third-party websites linked from the Website.

Nothing in this Legal Notice limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

6. Intellectual property

The domain certificate-assist.ie and the content published on the Website (text, graphics, images, logos and other materials) belong to Apliko Consulting OÜ or are used under licence. You may view, download and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other reproduction, distribution or modification requires our prior written consent.

7. Data protection

Personal data provided through the Website is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice is governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, where Apliko Consulting OÜ is established. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
